Giraglia Rolex Cup - A Lovely Day's Racing in St Tropez
10 Jun St Tropez, France - Light winds and sunny weather ruled day two of the Giraglia Rolex Cup in the Gulf of St Tropez. The racing started in light winds, and it didn't pick up until much of the 167-boat fleet was already more than half way through the 30.7 mile course. That late-coming wind put smaller boats at an advantage, which is shown in the results. Today's winner of the big boat division was one of the smallest, 40' Fissa, now 2nd overall in the IRC Group A.
