23 May U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy, a lifelong sailor, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor on Tuesday. Two days later, the Senator was released from the hospital (early), and spared no time in getting back on the water. Senator Kennedy, his wife Victoria, and their two dogs Splash and Sunny waded through the crowds of well-wishers, stepped aboard their classic 50' 1927 woody schooner, and cast off for a nice Hyannis Port sail, just hours after leaving the hospital. |
