Need advice re southern California/Mexico

I'm part way through the purchase of a sailboat in Marina Del Rey and am looking for advice.  The boat passed survey, deposit is in place, etc--now I'm booking a flight down to take it out for a test sail.  If all goes well and I complete the deal, I will have a boat that needs storage until June 1.
