we have two 80w and two 65w panels with a KISS wind gen. 10 6v Trojan batts, 135ah alternator, shore power charger, and a 3500w inverter.
This combination allows us to live on the hook or at the marina in relative comfort. Here in Florida, the solar panels probably make the largest contribution for day to day consumption. Underway, the alternator refreshes the battery bank to capacity. It all works well together. We have a 6ah Adler Barbour refer and a 6ah 12v/110v Norcold freezer as well as the flat screens...
power
I have a 10 watt solar panel, enough to off the batteries when not in use, but no where near the amount of power needed to for day to day use.
