Mega Yacht Octopus

At more than 414 feet long, the Octopus mega yacht is one of the largest privately owned mega yachts in the world. Octopus is owned by Paul Allen, who along with with Bill Gates founded Microsoft. Allen is worth about $10.5 billion US dollars and is the 32nd richest person in the world. The Octopus mega yacht has a swimming pool, holds two helicopters, seven boats, and has side hatches at the water line that form a dock for jet skis. The mega yacht also hold a 10 man submarine and a remote controlled vehicle for crawling on the Ocean floor. The submarine has the capacity to sleep eight for up to two weeks underwater!

Octopus has a full-time crew of 60, including former Navy Seals. The mega yacht was designed by the world famous company Espen Oino Naval Architects. German shipbuilders Lürssen and HDW made the exterior. The interior of the Octopus was designed by American designers Jonathan Quinn Barnett and Christian Grevstad from Seattle.
