The brass bush. It is a lot smaller than the hole in the steel centerplate. Yes we had to cut it to fit it out.

looks like you have a big project in front of you. Will you be painting the hull also. If so what paint do you plan to use?

I am going to use Wattyl Sigma Universal Primer. A two pack epoxy system.

Then SigmaDur 400 

The issue is waiting for the humidity to drop below 80%. A bit of a trick in the Wet season. 

 

I dont' see this as a big project rather just one little project at a time....
