I can’t stand the Bee Gees! Forum

Apparently a study by the University of Illinois College Of Medicine has suggested that the Bee Gees' song “Stayin' Alive” has the ideal beat to follow when performing chest compressions on a victim of a cardiac arrest; the recommended rate is 100 chest compressions per minute.

As having a Bee Gees’ song going around in my brain would reduce my own will to live I don’t think it would be very good for my patient.

Does any one know of a better song with the same beat?

Beat to follow when performing chest compressions

"Love To Love You Baby" - Donna Summer    --   Problem being having to explain why you're singing that if the patient wakes up.

"Werewolves of London" - Warren Zevon  --  ditto above

Most Marching Tunes  --  Problem being that you seem militaristic....Laughing
