The Port of Friday Harbor Marina is located in the center of the San Juan Islands in northwest Washington State. The 500 slip marina provides access to the Town of Friday Harbor, where one can find complete services for boaters. There is space available for 150 visiting boats ranging in size from dinghys to 150 foot yachts. Southern breakwaters are reserved for vessels over 45 feet in length.

The laundry facilities in town are very poor. There are two laundramats in Friday Harbor, owned by the same person. They are dirty, expensive and half of the machines do not work. They are for sale and I am hoping someone steps up and improves the situation. Roche Harbor has a good laundramat and I have heard good things about the one in Deer Harbor. Sunshine Laundry is another alternative, they are a 'fluff & fold' business that is located on Web St. up by Ace Hardware. They charge by the pound and have a minimum charge of 12 pounds (I think?)

February 2009 UPDATE: A very nice couple stepped up to the plate & purchased the two laundromats in town. They closed to one next to the ferry landing & updated the one in town. I have not had the opportunity to use the facility since the management change but have heard great things. I would no longer discourage anyone from giving them a try!!
