By the looks of that cottonwood, I'd guess it was about 100°F in the shade earlier that day?   I hear Georgiana is a bit risky for us blow-boaters - what were the depths like?

Thanks Salty. Good eyes...was a hot one that day! We get a fair amount of sailboats along the Georgiana, usually en route to The Bay. Depth runs from 15'-25', but deviation from the immediate channel could get you in some keel trouble quick. Tacking is a joke of course, but well worth a leisurely stroll for the scenery & privacy.
