jones island?
jones island?
Washington anchorage
Close. In fact I think if you hike up the hill on the north side of Jones island, and look to your east you might be able to see the north side of this island, which is right near the Canadian border. This island is an all time favorite for many Washington boaters.
Jones island is great too. The deer on the island are so tame, and the hiking is great.

Shallow bay on Sucia? Dave
Shallow bay on Sucia? Dave
Shallow bay on Sucia island
You got it
Shallow bay is a great anchorage on Sucia island, though shallow as the name suggests. We sat in the mud on a mooring once at low tide, and our boat only draws 5.5 feet! Super place to seek shelter when the wind kicks into Echo bay on the other side of the island.
I'll add the location, and change the title of this page so everyone knows where we are talking about.
