"Here's another squall in the Doldrums, well, yet another version of one, I'd say. So, what's in this one? There's water in it, that's for sure, and there might be some wind as well.  So we'll reduce the sails a bit. Oh, well, here's the first gust of about 35, 40 knots maybe and after this we should get some rain... The front of this gust is quite violent! And here comes the rain... Small rain stops big winds...and in the end the wind is gone. It still rains a bit, the sea is a bit rough. And in this fight I think that I've come ahead of Dee Caffari. Finally! Since last night we're on this tack, heeled like this in a sea that is a bit short and crossed. The boat's slamming hard and it shakes quite a bit. And... it's going to be like this for another 4, 5...6 days whilst crossing the St. Helen's high pressure zone.  It's going to be fascinating.  I'll have one leg shorter than the other by the end of the week..."
