The Great San Francisco Schooner Race took place this weekend, with gaff and marconi rigged sailboats sailing a course around the bay in typical summer winds.  Starting from Point Stuart near Tiburon, the schooners sailed to Alcatraz island, and on towards Richmond, before sailing back to Raccoon strait for the finish.
