La Paz and Todos Santos Mexico - Cruising Blog

Dolce Vita's picture

It is another great morning in La Paz so I thought I would put together another blog so you can see some of the views I have here each day.

It gets warm here, or should I say HOT. However, the winds cool everything down to the high 60's in the late afternoon through the evening so sleeping is great. I wish I could say this will continue but the locals say next month it will remain hot all day and evening

Cruising from Turtle Bay to La Paz Mexico - Blog

Dolce Vita's picture

We have arrived after sailing for 28 hours at an anchorage off of a sandy beach on a remote island. The island is Isla Cedros. Turtle Bay, tomorrows stop, is 30 miles away. We had ourselves another adventure before leaving on today's route. Nothing wrong with the boat. Something more scary.

Sailing from Oxnard to Los Angeles California - Blog

Dolce Vita's picture

Next Port-of-Call, Marina Del Rey which is located just north of the Los Angeles Airport. It is the largest marina on the west coast of the United States. Sunny and warm and yes, smoggy.

sailing blogsThe trip down from Channel Islands Marina took 8 hours. We motored the first 6 hours and as we got closer to the coast we picked up wind and raised the sails.

Sailing Morro Bay to Santa Barbara - Blog

Dolce Vita's picture

Here we are again at yet another beautiful port-of-call, Santa Barbara. We were given a great slip at the marina, 25 yards away from the bathroom and showers and 75 yards away from the bar. Even I could not have planned it better.
