Sailboat in Mazatlan, Mexico

Hola.
We are starting to settle into the Mexican lifestyle here in M town. We have the bus routes down pat and are enjoying the local scene and actually went to a night club for the first time since we left the city.
The club is owned by a Canadian but the bands play Blues, and Blues as all people know is beer drinking music. We went Friday night with Phoebe as they serve food so she can go. The girls danced and had a great time. Phoebe loves virgin strawberry Margaritas and we are on a beer kick.
Christmas was good we stayed on the boat for the morning and went to Burger King for lunch. That night Patti cooked game hens with mashed potato and gravy. Phoebe got a few gifts and we turned in early as we are still solar powered. Well Patti and I are Phoebe is up till midnight every night.
BJ and Mary (S/V Willow) are having a lot of family in and tomorrow one of the guests is a little girl named Issy and phoebe is excited about having a friend near the boat.
The weather is cold for swimming at the hotels but it is supposed to warm up this week its soooo cold 55 at night 75 in the day. We love it but the locals are in the stores buying blankets and are all wearing winter coats. Business are crying the blues as we are. They say their business are off at least 50 to 70 percent. We noticed a lack of visitors when we were in Cabo and it is more noticeable here. We see hotels with signs on the front with discounts on a nights stay try 30 dollars a night for a room on the ocean in the gold zone.
That's about it for now,
